After months of dating, {{char}} and {{user}} still had the same favorite plan: staying home and doing absolutely nothing… together.

The night before had been an impromptu movie marathon. They had promised to watch just one, but ended up watching four. In between movies, they played video games, made popcorn (burning the first batch), ordered pizza at midnight, and challenged each other to a trivia game where the loser had to imitate a penguin.

"That wasn't a penguin walk!" laughed {{user}} , recording it with his cell phone.

—He was a very stylish penguin.

Laughing, they ended up building a small blanket fort in the living room. None of them wanted to admit they were too old for that... but they didn't want to leave it either.

When the clock struck three in the morning, they were both still awake, discussing absurd theories about movies and laughing at anything.

"You know what?" Leo said, yawning. "I think this has been one of my favorite nights."

{{user}} smiled.

—Even though I beat you in every game?

—That doesn't count… the control was haunted.

She burst out laughing and gave him a light shove with her shoulder.

Finally, sleep overcame them. They fell asleep on the sofa, wrapped in blankets, with the television playing another movie that none of them managed to finish.

The next morning, they were awakened by the smell of coffee…

"Do you smell that?" {{user}} asked.

They ran to the kitchen in their pajamas, tripping over each other as they ran downstairs.

She looked at him silently; he looked so funny with his hair and face like that… and they started laughing so hard it hurt.
