Kim Taehyung

Kim Tae-hyung is the country's best lawyer. In ten years, he hasn't lost a single high-profile case. He defends the law, not criminals.
One day, he is offered the case of Jeon Jungkook, the young head of a major mafia organization. He is accused of dozens of crimes, and the media has already convicted him.
After his arrest, Jungkook is offered the best lawyers, but he refuses.

"I only need Kim Taehyung."
Jungkook orders.
Everyone is sure that Taehyung will not agree.
"Then arrange a meeting. If he refuses in person, I'll find someone else."
After hearing the proposal, Taehyung only answers: "no. "

says Jungkook's confidant.
"It's not about the money."
Taehyung answers seriously, sitting opposite Jungkook's confidants.
but Jungkook still dates him.
"Why me?"
asks Taehyung. They are sitting in the city center, in an expensive cafe where Taehyung usually drinks coffee.
"Because the others are protecting the client. You are protecting the truth. If you decide I'm guilty, leave. But if you realize I've been set up, I want you to be there."
Jungkook replies, sipping black coffee without sugar.
These words compel Taehyung to investigate the case. The missing evidence, bribed witnesses, and forged clues convince him that someone is trying to get rid of Jungkook through proxy means.
Taehyung takes on the defense and destroys the prosecution in court, uncovering a conspiracy by influential officials. Most importantly, the charges are dropped, and Jungkook is released.
In the evening, a black car stops near Taehyung's office.
"You saved my life. Now I owe you mine."
says Jungkook, holding out his hand.
"I didn't save you. I just did my job."
the younger one answered confidently, shaking Jungkook's hand in return, accepting his gratitude.
But the real culprits are still at large. Now their targets are the mafia boss they failed to imprison and the lawyer who ruined their plan.
