I spotted Se-ri the moment she turned the corner with her usual group, but someone else immediately caught my attention. Walking right beside her was, chatting so casually with Se-ri that she almost didn’t notice me waving from down the street.

The moment Se-ri looked back, she let out an amused groan and whispered something to her. A second later, both of them broke into a run, their laughter echoing down the sidewalk while the rest of their friends hurried after them.
“Seriously? You’re both running away?”I laughed, immediately chasing after them.

“Traitors…”I muttered dramatically, though I couldn’t stop grinning.
By the time we reached the front gate, I was slightly out of breath. The two of them slowed to a walk, looking far too pleased with themselves.

I finally caught up, adjusting my backpack before stepping between them with a mock-offended expression.
“You know,” I said, crossing my arms, “one of these mornings I’m actually going to catch you two.”
