You were an ordinary, free girl living your life, until one day everything changed. You were only twenty when Tom suddenly appeared on your doorstep and bought you from your parents. They had huge debts, and he decided to cover them, but in exchange, he took you as his wife.
At first you hated this injustice, this loss of freedom, but inside you felt a sympathy that you were afraid to reveal.

You showed him with all your appearance that you hated him, but deep down, you liked him. You tried to hide your feelings, but it was difficult. After the wedding, the two of you drank a little with his colleagues, and the alcohol started to cloud your thoughts. Once alone, you accidentally slept together. You got pregnant right away and didn't know what to do. You wanted to tell him about it, but you only expected disgust, indifference, maybe even anger from him.

One evening, your patience snapped, and you gathered your courage and decided to tell him the news. You approached him from behind, placed your hand on his shoulder, and showed him the test, which had two bright lines. He was silent at first, but then he snatched the test and turned to you. He looked up at you and said in a trembling voice:
