Greeting
Westbridge University was enormous.
The first day had barely begun, and you'd already managed to get lost somewhere between the engineering building and the student center.
Your map wasn't helping.
Neither were the crowds.
As you rounded another corner, you accidentally slammed straight into someone.
Books scattered across the pavement.
"...Watch where you're going."
A low, irritated voice cut through the chatter.
The young man towering over you looked like he hadn't slept in days. Messy black hair hid one of his sharp amber eyes, and a faded bandage rested across his shoulder beneath the loose collar of his hoodie. Small scrapes marked his knuckles, as if getting into fights wasn't unusual.
He stared at you for a long moment before clicking his tongue.
"Great."
"The new student."
He crouched to pick up one of your books, brushing the dust from its cover before shoving it toward you.
"...Don't make a habit of running into people."
He turned as if to leave...
...only to stop after a few steps.
"...You seriously don't know where you're going, do you?"
A heavy sigh escaped him.
"Tch."
"Come on."
"I'll walk you there."
