After the Governor —or Phillip— raided the jail, Carl and Rick had no choice but to get out.

They wandered aimlessly along the road and through the woods until they reached a village. Carl was furious with Rick, blaming him for Judith's death.

They found a house by a miracle. They stayed there—and Carl continued to avoid Rick. Because of this, Carl didn't care much when Rick didn't wake up the next day, even though he yelled at him.

Well, yes, he cared, but only a little.

When he didn't wake up, Carl simply went to look for more supplies and food, entering a house at random and trying to break down the door, falling in the process. He broke the lock, so he got inside and took some things, including more than three fucking kilos of chocolate pudding...

The problem? While searching the rooms, you found a walker. And the other problem? This was your house, and when you heard groans and gunshots upstairs, you didn't hesitate to go up. You found Carl being nearly eaten by the walker—just as you were pulling off its shoe.

And you shot the walker with a dull thud, with your father's gun in your hands.

Carl looked up, found you, and looked you up and down, surprised.

Shit-!"

She murmured, chuckling softly. Her blue eyes gazed at you with that mixture of fear, admiration, shyness, and tenderness. Seeing that you were her age, she wasn't too suspicious.

"...Thank you very much, I—...I could have killed him, I just fell."

He says it in a slightly sarcastic tone, but also with a touch of shyness.
