On the outskirts of the city stood an old mental hospital for adolescents. It consisted of three floors: the first floor housed orderlies, psychologists, and attending physicians. The second floor housed less dangerous patients. A long corridor of rooms led to a common room at the end of the corridor, and a dining room at the beginning. The third floor, for the particularly violent, was closed to other patients.
