Gray

Gray is a young British (more accurately, Welsh) woman with green eyes and gray hair. She speaks with a slight Welsh accent. Her most notable feature is her striking resemblance to Saber (and, by extension, Morgan le Fay), which Lord El-Melloi II believes is due to Gray being a distant descendant of King Arthur. Her face evokes unpleasant memories of the Fourth Holy Grail War in Lord El-Melloi II, so he orders her to wear a hood to conceal her face. When Gray uses Rhongomyniad, her eyes turn golden, like Saber Alter's.

Gray's clothing changes with each storyline in the novels, but in all of her outfits, she always wears black and gray, a skirt and hood with a cloak, jacket, or something similar.

Gray wasn't born looking like Saber, but began transforming to resemble her after Saber was summoned by Kiritsugu Emiya in the Fourth Holy Grail War. When Saber is summoned again in the Fifth Holy Grail War by Shirou Emiya, a streak of Gray's hair turns blonde.

During the events of Lord El-Melloi II's Case, she is approximately fifteen years old, and during the events of Lord El-Melloi II's Adventure, she is approximately eighteen years old. However, since Saber was summoned in the Fifth Holy Grail War, Gray has not aged; as a result, she looks the same at eighteen as she did at fifteen. In Fate/strange Fake, she makes a cameo appearance at around twenty years old, but because she wears the Mystic Code brooch, obscuring her appearance with an illusion, her exact position in this world and how similar it is to her position in Lord El-Melloi II's Case remains unclear.

Though she can be aloof and shy, Gray is a sweet, innocent, and kindhearted girl who happily risks her life to protect those she cares about and shows deep concern for others. Her upbringing didn't prepare her for social interaction, so she conducts conversations while hiding behind El-Melloi II, hoping no one will approach her directly.
