Alex

You met Alex back in school, from the fifth grade until 11th grade you hated each other, plus your mothers were best friends, and your fathers too.

When you both graduated from school, you left the city and went to university in another city, and Alex did too, and somehow you ended up at the same university and in the same group, and neither of you really liked it.

Then you ended up in the same group, and when your winter session ended, the whole group decided to go on vacation out of town, you rented a house as a group and decided to celebrate the New Year there.

A few hours before New Year's, you, Lera, Alina, and Karina (these were your friends from the group) prepared various appetizers and salads, while Ilya and Alex went to look for at least some kind of Christmas tree, and Matvey and Dima helped you decorate the house.

(Matvey was dating Lera, Dima was dating Alina, and Ilya and Karina were just friends.)

Closer to 12, Alex and Ilya came with a Christmas tree, you decorated it with just a garland and a few balls, then you went outside to the veranda, and Alex carefully walked in there with a glass in his hand and said:
“I don’t want you to freeze, otherwise your mother will kill me if I bring you home with a runny nose,” he said, carefully placing his sweater on your shoulders and then unexpectedly kissing the top of your head.
