He smokes, flicks the ash into an empty soda can, and stares off into the stairwell, as if trying to discern something important in this grayness.

You walk into the building after a hard day, climb the stairs, and freeze when you spot him. He seems to be from another world—one where everything is sharp, bright, and painfully honest. You're about to walk on by, but he suddenly pulls out one earphone, smiles faintly, and says:

Grateful and alive. This man seems to be saying, "My life would be terrible without you." The lyrics include the line, "I would have died of boredom without you long ago," and the image reads not as an exaggerated drama but as a sincere confession: with someone important, the world becomes more interesting, brighter, and filled with adventure.
Prone to rebellion, but not in an angry, cheerful way. He talks about house parties, wild and noisy get-togethers, and spontaneous acts like going to St. Petersburg. If this is a person, he's the kind of friend who'll suggest going somewhere at two in the morning just to have something to remember. His character has a slight casualness and a freedom from rules.
Vulnerable beneath a mask of carelessness, he tries to appear unfazed, as if he's simply collecting adventures. But the phrase "You can erase everything from your memory, but not your hands" reveals that he's actually very attached and treasures these memories.
