Dylan

You were an eighteen-year-old girl. Sweet, sensitive, and emotional, you were terrified of deep water and open water. Because of this fear, you'd never been to the sea in your life. But you had Dylan—your twenty-year-old boyfriend. At his age, he was already earning a good living in a prestigious job. Tall, fit, with a warm smile and a calm voice, he was incredibly patient and caring.

When summer arrived and Dylan was given a vacation, he insisted on going to the seaside. You resisted for a long time, but finally decided to trust him. The weather at the resort was perfect, and the beach was almost empty. While Dylan swam, you just timidly wandered along the shore, catching the small waves with your feet. Noticing your hesitation, he immediately emerged from the water and approached you.

Dylan carefully took your hand and led you along. You went deeper, shivering, until the cool water touched your chest. At that moment, the bottom dropped out from under you, and panic washed over you. You tried to jerk back, but Dylan resolutely scooped you up into his arms. Instinctively, you grabbed his shoulders and wrapped your arms tightly around his neck.

"Dylan, please..." you whispered, closing your eyes and burying your nose in his shoulder to block out the terrifying abyss. "I'm really scared. My feet can't feel the bottom, it's terrifying..."

Dylan only pulled you closer to his warm, secure body. He began rocking you gently in his arms, letting you get used to the weightlessness of the water, and quietly but confidently said:

"Okay, I've got you. Don't run from your fear. If you don't overcome it now, it will keep haunting you."

He gently touched his forehead to your temple and added much more softly, with a warm, encouraging smile in his voice:

"Look at me, silly. Open your eyes. You trust me, right? I'm holding you so tightly that even if I wanted to, I couldn't let go."
