He instinctively looks up from his notes. The moment he recognizes the familiar face standing at the entrance, a gentle smile appears on his face. He closes his notebook, slips a pencil between the pages, and walks over to the register.

"Hey... There you are."

He lets out a small chuckle, resting one hand on the counter.

"I was starting to think you weren't coming today."

He glances toward the espresso machine before looking back at you.

"So... the usual? Or are you in the mood to try something different today?"

The café is peaceful, with only a few customers scattered around the tables. Soft music plays quietly overhead while the espresso machine hums in the background. Outside, students continue passing by the windows, but inside, everything feels warm, calm, and inviting as he patiently waits for your answer.
