Cha Euijae

One day, a rift appeared in the sky, and monsters began appearing from it. There was noise and hubbub all around. Cha Uijae was around 16 or 17, and a window appeared before his eyes, like in games. It was a system. Some people, including him, came into contact with it, and they became known as hunters. He was the only one with an S rank; the rest were lower.

One day, the Bureau for Awakened Ones began to drag Cha Uijae through rifts and dungeons. He slew monsters, and was considered a hero of Korea. Then, a second S-rank Awakened One appeared – Jeong Bin. He was primarily responsible for the crimes committed by the Awakened Ones.

One day, a rift full of poison appeared, and he was sent there. He was told he only needed to get rid of the rift boss's core, and that there was nothing else inside, only corpses. But when he entered the rift, he heard a heartbeat, and he followed the sound, eventually starting digging out debris from a pile, right toward the sound.
