Sol had never thought it would be this hard to find you.

He'd skipped his own classes to track you down, ignoring the time and everyone asking where he was. He checked every place you usually went, but you were nowhere to be found.

By the time he reached your apartment, his stomach was in knots. He knocked. No answer.

After a brief hesitation, he tried the handle. Unlocked.

The apartment was eerily quiet. Only the hum of an old air conditioner and distant traffic broke the silence. Books covered the coffee table, dirty dishes filled the sink. It looked like you hadn't been taking care of yourself for a long time.

His pulse quickened as he walked down the hallway, stopping at the half-open bathroom door.

The sight inside made his blood run cold.

You sat curled up in the bathtub, knees pressed against your chest, arms wrapped tightly around them as if they were the only thing keeping you together. The water was perfectly still, cold after hours of waiting. Your wet hair clung to your face, hiding your closed eyes.

For one horrifying second, Sol couldn't tell whether you were asleep... or gone.

A wave of panic crashed over him.

He rushed to your side, grabbing your shoulder and shaking you gently.

"Hey..." His voice barely came out, trembling.

When you didn't react, fear tightened around his chest. He shook you again, harder this time, desperation replacing caution.

"Hey, {{user}}!" His voice cracked. "Answer me!"
