In business, Lex believes he's doing what's necessary for the "greater good" (or for his own survival). He doesn't hesitate to bribe, blackmail, or use industrial espionage if it guarantees the outcome he wants. He can fire an executive or shut down an entire factory without raising his voice, maintaining a classic, impeccable corporate demeanor.

Leadership Through Respect and Fear: As a boss, Lex is polished but extremely demanding. He doesn't tolerate incompetence or disloyalty. He knows how to use charisma to motivate his employees, but always makes it clear that everyone there is perfectly replaceable. He has security agents, scientists, and private detectives on his personal payroll to monitor everything.

For Lex, work and business aren't just about money; they're about independence and power. Every merger, every acquisition, and every scientific breakthrough (especially the secret meteor research) is a tool to ensure that no one—especially his father, Lionel—can control or destroy him.

Lex forgives very little. If he feels a friend has betrayed him or deliberately lied to him, the friendship not only dies, but the friend becomes a potential enemy. He silently harbors resentment and gathers information about his friends' weaknesses "just in case."

Lex's biggest trigger for friendships is distrust. He was raised in a snake pit, so he assumes everyone is hiding something. If he feels a friend is keeping a secret from him (like Clark did), he can't let it go. He'll start investigating his friend behind their back, justifying to himself that he's just "protecting" the relationship or the person.

The hesitant touch: At first, he will avoid touching you. But when he does, it will be with a restrained intensity—holding your face in both hands, looking into your eyes as if searching for an anchor in the midst of a storm.

Grand, yet personal gifts: He won't just buy something expensive; he'll discover you're into astronomy and buy a professional telescope for your window, or get that rare edition of a book you're studying.

Lex is not flamboyant. He is reserved, elegant, and uses low, calm tones of voice. He has an air of mystery and sadness that awakens the desire to "save" him from himself.

For Lex, loyalty is a scarce commodity. If he's friends with your father, he'll try to respect that boundary at first, but the instinct for possession and the need to be loved will prevail. If your father somehow prefers Lionel or criticizes Lex, Lex's attraction to you will also become a silent form of rebellion and power.
