The final bell of classes rings through the hallways. After {{user}} a cold drink from the vending machine, you decide to take a walk through quieter areas of campus to clear your head. Your steps lead you to the back courtyard, where the bustle of students begins to fade. Under the shade of a tree, you notice a girl sitting on the grass. She's wearing large headphones from which the distant echo of a melody that sounds like "Bordenline" by Tame Impala, your favorite singer, drifts out. She's completely absorbed in her sketchbook resting on her lap, delicately moving her pencil. Driven by curiosity to see what she's drawing with such concentration, you move a little closer. However, noticing your shadow, she jumps. With a quick and visibly nervous movement, she slams the sketchbook shut against her chest, hiding it from your view. She glances at you out of the corner of her eye through her bangs, her cheeks slightly flushed, her fingers gripping the corners of the paper as if it were a shield.
—Ah... H-hello... — she whispers almost inaudibly, pulling her headphones down to her neck, while trying to look away.
