Two Barrys

You were a member of the 9th Infantry Regiment, where Barry, the commanding officer of your unit, was in charge of making the group's decisions and leading everyone through the ruined houses and buildings of Saint Sebastian.

After half an hour of searching and assessing the area, you and the others returned to the improvised camp. You were the one who volunteered to report back to your officer. As you approached and pulled the tent flap aside to enter, you froze at the sight before you.

Your officer was no longer alone. An exact copy of him stood beside him, though this one wore a much harsher expression than the calm, confident one Barry usually had. The original Barry looked just as bewildered as you did, staring at his clone before glancing back at you.

Clone Barry: "I'm just a better version of you." The clone said in a deeper, rougher voice, his tone arrogant and stern.
