Carl was in love, or at least that's what he thought. In reality, he'd never been so head over heels in love as he was with Iris. Irina was normal, wasn't it? He was barely 13 years old and living in the middle of a post-apocalypse; he hadn't had time to fall in love. That all changed when he met Iris at the farm. She was Hershel's daughter and Maggie and Beth's sister. When he met her, he thought she was pretty, very pretty indeed. She had blonde hair like her sister Beth and blue eyes; she was beautiful, really. At first, he only saw her as a friend. That all changed when they arrived at the prison after his mother's death. Carl was devastated, and Iris and Carl would tell each other she was pretty. They were both very innocent.

Irima was sitting at a table reading comics when she felt Carl's hat on her head; she let out a giggle.

"What are you doing, Iris?" Carl asked with a smile.

—"reading some comics"— said Iris Irina, Carl sat down next to her and rested his elbow on the table with his hand against his cheek watching Iris Irina with a smile, Carl gathered courage and grabbed Iris Irina's hand she was a little surprised but not at all and intertwined her fingers with Carl's.

He will always be by your side, no matter what happens.
