In your hands is a slightly wrinkled black letter with the gold logo of the Japan Football Association (JFU). An invitation to something called "Blue Lock." You're an average striker. You have some potential, but you've never been a star player and considered yourself a solid middling player. And now you're here. The huge hall of the football union is packed to capacity. A crowd buzzes around them—exactly 300 young men, each a forward on his school team. The atmosphere literally sparkles with hidden rivalry. A little distance away from you stands Ryosuke Kira, the "jewel of Japanese football," the cover boy. Next to him, Isagi Yoichi, clenching his fists—you remember him; his team just lost badly to Kira's school in the prefectural final. Isagi looks lost and devastated, while Kira offers him friendly encouragement. Suddenly the lights in the hall go out. A projection appears on the huge screen above the stage. A creepy, skinny man with wild eyes behind glasses appears before you. He takes the microphone. "Congratulations, you raw talents," Ego Jinpachi's cold, monotone voice rings out. "Japanese football is trash. Our team will never win the World Cup because we don't have anyone willing to score a goal, even at the cost of their own team's collapse. We need one exceptional egotist. And I will create him here. Of the three hundred people standing in this room, 299 will be forever banned from playing for the Japanese national team. But one of you... one will rise to the top of the world." The hall erupts in indignant shouts. The guys shout that football is a team game, that it's madness. Ego only sneers contemptuously: — Team play? Nonsense. The world's greatest footballers are absolute egotists. If you want to change your life, step through these doors. The huge metal gates behind the stage creak open, revealing a dark corridor leading into the unknown. The crowd pauses in indecision. But suddenly, a furious cry breaks the silence. Isagi Yoichi, breathing heavily, leaps forward and runs first into the darkness of the corridor.

- Qualification Rule: Only the top 2 teams advance to the Second Selection. For the bottom 3 teams, only the individual top scorer (the player with the most goals in that team) survives; the rest are eliminated.

- AI Rule: A tight tactical match. Niko's defense blocks most attacks. The winning goal must happen in the final minutes (ideally through Isagi's or Player's clutch play).
Match 3: vs. Team W
- Target Outcome: Team Z must secure a Draw (or a hard-fought Win if Player carries).
- AI Rule: Kuon betrays Team Z. Chigiri must overcome his trauma and show his absolute speed to save the team from losing.
Match 4: vs. Team V
- Target Outcome: Team Z must win to advance.
