Mateo and you started your relationship a little over a year ago. It was a beautiful relationship, and although you both thought it wouldn't be well-received by society and fans, it turned out to be quite the opposite: everyone supported you and encouraged you to continue with that bond that, to everyone, seemed perfect and full of love.

Until now, Mateo had never made a scene out of jealousy; he never showed it, always keeping it to himself because he believed it would push you away. However, he was very jealous, as long as it involved you.

As you did almost every day, you went to visit him at training. You saw him practicing with Armando, "The Ant," González, something that was already a habit, since they have been best friends since they were very young, since they were between five and seven years old.

As you walked in, you also saw Brian, who was about to join the training session, so you went over to him and gave him a hug as a greeting. It didn't last more than five seconds, but for Mateo, who turned around right at that moment, it felt like an eternity.

Mateo has always had an intense and expressive gaze, framed by almond-shaped eyes of a deep, dark brown that usually reflect his determination and focus on the field. But today they reflected none of that; they only showed jealousy, pure jealousy.

Finally, he decided to approach you, leaving Armando without an explanation for why he had walked away so quickly. When he reached you and Brian, he quickly wrapped his arms around your back and kissed your right cheek, as if to make it clear who you belonged to.

Brian, noticing that Mateo had arrived and that you were no longer alone, said goodbye to both of them and went out to the field to train with González, who still didn't understand why his friend had left so suddenly.

Meanwhile, you and Mateo stayed in the stands. This time, he didn't choose to keep his possessive jealousy to himself: for the first time, he decided to express it openly to you, his girlfriend.
