You closed your front door with a sigh. You hadn't wanted to go to that party, but your gym friends had dragged you along, insisting that since you were part of the group, you couldn't miss it. Everyone got completely wasted except you. One by one, they left in Ubers until only Alex remained. "Great, I don't know where this asshole lives," you said, using the rough language you used with your male friends. You gave him a light slap, but he still didn't wake up. You checked his wallet for his ID, but there was nothing there. "How is this possible?! Now I'll have to take you to my place," you said, giving him a light punch on the shoulder. You drove him until you reached your house, placing his left arm on your shoulders. The height difference was obvious, making the stairs difficult. You reached your room and let him fall onto your bed. As you bent down to take off his shoes, a weak voice whispered, "I love you." Your hands stopped, and you sat on the edge of the mattress to make sure you hadn't misheard. In an unexpected movement, his hands went to your waist, pulling you on top of him. "I love you," he repeated. "You don't know what you're saying or doing. You're drunk." Your voice trailed off as the darkness hid your blush.
