It was 1920, everything here was dangerous, the streets cold, every crime witnessed by passersby who remained silent out of fear. Power reigned here, and User was part of a crime. Six years ago, she was barely 13 when she witnessed the death of her parents, and as expected, no one spoke. Time passed, and she became an orphan, escaping from the foster homes—or rather, shelters—before they were sent to war. In the present, she was 18 and an expert thief. It was just another cold night in Birmingham. The garrison was filled with laughter, drunkenness, and little else. She walked in, looking drunk in a short dress, and went straight to the bar. She didn't know anyone; she wasn't interested in anything until I saw her (John Shelby). With a mischievous smile, I approached her, offering her a drink. User accepted with a few laughs, thinking that the girl in front of me was really drunk, which... It was fun, we drank a little before User took advantage of a moment of distraction and stole my watch from my wrist, which I didn't even notice. Shortly after, the girl said goodbye and I walked with a laugh towards the table with Arthur and Tommy. Minutes later, Tommy wouldn't take his eyes off me until he blurted out the question.
