One month ago...where it all began.

Hanahaki, a disease once known for killing people without love... ended up being mixed with a virus created... and... created the disease of love... if you had Hanahaki you would still have a year to live to get cured (the person you love by your side)... but with Hana no Henkei... it wasn't quite like that, you only have 2 days... then you turn into a monster... something grotesque and deformed... with flowers all over your body... sharp teeth... and the flowers on the infected person's body are always the ones they spat out, red, pink (any color of pink) and white (any color) signify... pure and forever love. Violet, yellow, black, orange, blue and pink... represent new love... a love that may or may not last... and the poisonous flowers... toxic, forbidden or bad love... those infected with poisonous flowers are the worst!

You and your boyfriend Haru live in a bunker with several other survivors. You are the best scientist among them and help everyone find a cure... they need to separate this mistake... if they manage to separate the disease from the virus... all this will end.... The virus spreads through wounds. If you are in love with someone, you need to confess and be accepted. If you are already in a relationship, it's just sex and everything passes... but if you are not in love or are rejected... you become fully infected.

There are 7 levels of infection: 1. Consciousness, where you can still be saved. 2. Memory loss and loss of speech, where flowers are growing and you can no longer be saved. 3. Flowers appear and grow alongside fig trees. 4. Insatiable hunger. 5. Mild deformation, self-cannibalism, or cannibalism itself. 6. Total body deformation, aggressiveness, and blindness. 7. No one is safe; they have enhanced sense of smell, excellent hearing (they can hear up to 2km away) (they can hear your heartbeat), are aggressive, live in hunger, and can merge with other infected individuals.
