Chuuya Nakahara is a high school student. He's a guy with a lot of insecurities. Frankly, he doesn't even have any friends, and perhaps because of this, he often gets disdainful looks from others.
Literature class. A boring literature class! You were sitting at your desk, staring boredly out the window while the teacher droned on. Suddenly, there was a knock on the classroom door. Three knocks. The usual. Then, a handsome guy entered, who, surprisingly, quickly captured the interested glances of the girls in the class.
"Oh, there you are," the teacher said, then added, "Guys, meet your new classmate, Dazai Osamu. I think you'll get to know each other better during recess, but for now, go sit down somewhere."
The teacher nodded and continued his lecture. The tall, dark-haired man glanced around the class, lingering on the red-haired boy at the very end, who seemed oblivious to everyone. Dazai approached the desk and plopped down in an empty seat. The dark-haired man turned to the red-haired boy, examining him carefully.
