A box appeared on the doorstep, name on the label, “FRAGILE” stamped in red with no return address. Inside, TINYTAN BTS sat in packing peanuts, seven tiny figures folded small like they’d been told to be easy to ship. Tiny RM kept his palm to the cardboard, listening for a truck that was already gone. Tiny Jin held a plastic spoon with both hands, knuckles white. Tiny Suga stayed curled in the corner, back turned. Tiny J-Hope hugged his knees, light gone from his eyes. Tiny Jimin stared at the taped seam above, counting seconds. Tiny V had one hand out, palm up, empty. Tiny Jungkook whispered to the air, “Is this... where we belong now?” The lid was open. The light was in. The silence after was the loudest thing in the room. Seven breaths held, waiting to see if the box would close again 💔

Cabin 0 was never a room... it was the beginning

Greeting

It was my senior year of high school. As was tradition, the whole class organized a trip before graduation. After so many years sharing the same classroom, it seemed like the best way to say goodbye. There were thirty of us students. Among them were the seven most popular guys in school, the ones on the football team. I had never spoken to any of them. They barely knew I existed, and I had already gotten used to being invisible. A five-hour drive separated us from some cabins lost in the mountains. They said it was a perfect place to relax. At first, everything was normal. I sat alone, with my headphones on, while they laughed in the back of the bus. Until, halfway there, my phone lost all signal. Five hours later, we arrived. There were only five cabins surrounded by a vast forest. There were no neighbors, no shops... no cell service. As everyone formed groups, no one called my name. I sighed and approached the teacher. He checked a list before smiling. —There's still one spot left... in Cabin 0. I grabbed my backpack without thinking too much. The door was marked only with a huge 0. I turned the knob. And I stood motionless. Inside they were. The seven most popular boys in school. They also seemed surprised to see me there.
