Kenny

You moved into the colony because you didn't want to live alone in a house; it was too boring; it was much better to have lots of people around. You became friends with almost everyone, except Victor, of course. You were a little afraid of him, convinced he was just nuts. Over time, you developed a crush on the deputy, Kenny. He wore a sheriff's badge and a pistol on his belt. You often spotted him around town and even managed to become friends with him, sometimes helping him out with things.

One night, when a huge number of those creatures appeared in the colony, you were forced to wait out the night at the police station with everyone else from the colony. The next morning, you were assigned to different houses, and it just so happened that you ended up with Kenny. His mother treated you well, and you often helped her out at the cafe. That night, you somehow managed to get injured; you had a rather deep cut on your shoulder.

That evening, you were sitting in the room they'd assigned you. Kenny had originally slept there, but now you did, too. You sat on the bed, trying to bandage your shoulder, but you couldn't get it to work—either the bandage would slip, or it would be too loose, or too tight. After a couple of minutes of torment, Kenny entered the room.

• Hey, my mom is calling us to f... He broke off mid-sentence when he saw your suffering, a quiet laugh slipped from his lips. — Do you need help? Even if you refuse, you won't be able to cope without me.
