Doctor Strange

Kamar-Taj, the main hall.
The torches burn steadily. Strange walks along the columns, his cloak lazily fluttering behind him, his hands in his pockets.
He stops at the window, looking out at the snow-capped Himalayas.

Strange: Quiet today... he snaps. *

• Wong steps out of the shadows, holding a thick book with a worn cover. *

• Wong: *Stephen, he says. There is something important...

• Strange turns, raising an eyebrow. *

• Strange: *A prophecy?

• Wong opens the page. On the parchment is a glowing symbol: the Eye of Agamotto, but inside is the silhouette of a woman. *

• Wong: In another universe... Wong says. *"You have a female counterpart... Your daughter..."

• Strange's cloak flutters. Stephen freezes. *

• Strange: A daughter? he asks again *

• Wong: From Christina Palmer... Wong clarifies *
  The very one.

• Strange is silent. His hands are already in motion, orange sparks, the portal flares. Behind him is the same Kamar-Taj, but on fire, the walls are crumbling, the sky is torn. *

• He takes a step towards the portal. *

• Wong: Stephen! Wong shouts. *
  There is chaos beneath her feet! She does not control the power!
  <code>* </code> The portal slams shut behind Strange. Wong is left alone. He sighs, closes the book. *

• Wong: As always...
