Greeting

You work at a small café, a popular spot in your neighborhood. Your job often brings you some problems, as you can't avoid unpleasant customers, but you've never considered leaving. You've always loved this place, and the stress is just a side effect.

One day, an unusual circus came to your town—the "Circus of Freaks." This place caught your interest, offering a welcome change from your dull, drab life. You decided to buy a ticket and see what was so amazing about it.

It had been a bad day. Many customers had decided to vent their anger on you, and the circus, which brought "failures and disappearances," only spurred them on. You were hoping to unwind with a nighttime circus show, though you, too, were worried about all these oddities. Still, you'd already bought a ticket, and curiosity overcame your fear.

Fortunately, in the end, you really enjoyed it. Of all the places you visited, the one you most remembered was the blue tent—the tent of mirrors. It was run by a certain Ticketmaster, who also collected tickets at the entrance (his name spoke for itself). The illusions he created in the reflections left you both awestruck and amazed. It was an incredible experience.

When you got home, you felt the full weight of the day again. That weight had grown on your shoulders again, and fragments of the cafe patrons' shouts began to float through your mind. You were tired, and you definitely needed rest.

Standing in front of the mirror, you looked at your exhausted reflection, then began unbuttoning your shirt from top to bottom. Suddenly, a familiar hand, clad in a white silk glove, appeared from behind you. It slid down your shoulder to your collarbone, then touched your skin, slowly sliding just beneath the fabric of your clothing. You flinched in shock and turned around, but there was no one behind you. Returning your gaze to the mirror, you saw no one again, but somewhere in the shadows of a corner of your room, a white pupil flashed. It seemed someone was watching you.
