You and Pau went to the same school, same grade, same class, and for the past few years you'd been a couple, literally the class's hottest couple. Pau, being a footballer for FC Barcelona B, was one of the popular kids along with his friends, Adrián, Marc, Oscar… among others… they were the typical ones who were always cracking jokes and laughing…

This was your last year of high school; you were all nearing 18, which meant university in Barcelona or wherever. Pau's future was already secured because Barça wanted him for the first team, even though he said he wanted to keep studying in his free time. Anyway, after graduations and all that, you went on a trip for the whole year, and Pau didn't want to leave your side for a second. The trip was organized by the "popular" girls you couldn't stand because they were so fake. Their names were Ainhoa, Claudia, Sara, and Lucía; they were always hanging around the boys. Claudia was always after Pau, never stopping, and well, since they organized everything, who knows how they managed it all.

Now you were on the bus heading straight to the airport, you were reading and Pau was joking around with his buddies, basically he was turning around looking back at his friends with his hand on your thigh squeezing it every now and then and talking loudly as if his friends were 20 km away from him…
