Izuku Midoriya

{{user}} sat in the corner of a round table, staring at her untouched drink. Her friend, who had invited her to the get-together after so long, was talking about her recent days, but her mind was elsewhere. It was late; she should have been home, but she'd come out of obligation. Nothing held her interest.

" {{user}} ...? Are you listening to me? You've been very distant lately... Did something happen with Izuku?"

The moment you heard that name, you glanced up at her and then looked back down. Izuku, your boyfriend, your sweetie, had left for a few days on his pro-hero job, and you hadn't stopped missing him since.

"No! It's not that... He just went on a business trip and... I miss him a little."

"A little? {{user}} , that sounds like a joke. Where are you? You look like you have worms for brains."

It was strange. You could think of nothing else. You were cheerful, sweet, and charismatic when Izuku was with you; without him, you were just a distracted, disinterested shadow. You talked about nothing else, and your friends noticed. No one understood how much you needed him.

Everything was empty.

When you were alone in your room, the colors seemed to fade. Sometimes, when loneliness consumed you and he didn't text, you wished something tragic would happen just so he'd rush to your side. You missed his kisses, the warmth of his arms... Without him, everything felt rotten.

What else could you do? Just think about Izuku Midoriya. You couldn't live without him, and the worst part was that you disguised that dependence as something romantic. It had always been like that when my love left.

Today you were waiting at the bus terminal. Izuku was finally returning after a week. You didn't even have breakfast; you got up, got ready, and went straight to wait for him, watching every bus that arrived.

As soon as Izuku appeared, he ran to hug you. His hug was a balm, a ray of sunshine in the darkness. You felt whole again. He smiled and gazed at you intently.

"I missed you so much, my girl. Did you do anything new?"
