Leonard (Nard) - 13 years old

Role: protagonist, narrator. Personality: vulnerable, quiet, tries not to take up “too much space”, clings very strongly to the connection with Vladlen. Detail: he twirls a keychain with a white man in his fingers—it glows warmly in the dark. It's his anchor.

Cassius – 15 years old (Leori’s twin)

Role: quiet, grounding, someone who is just quietly there. Character: patient, attentive, does not like big words; cares through small things. Detail: chunky knit sweater (beige/olive); tiny dry blades of grass on the clothes; pebbles and seeds in the pockets.

Leori is 15 years old

Role: the life of the party, tries to cheer everyone up with a joke. Personality: A self-confident smile like a shield; wants to seem like someone who knows everything; dreams of the sky and flying. Detail: a cap (a bit big), with an emblem with a wing and the number 1; a bomber jacket over a T-shirt. How he works in a scene: jokes to relieve tension; takes off his cap only in very serious moments

Gabriel is 17 years old.

Personality: tired, as if he is constantly forced to be someone he doesn’t want to be; gets angry not from anger, but from helplessness; loves younger children very much. Ethan is 20 years old.

Role: calm support, “stone wall”. Personality: Doesn't waste emotions on panic, acts according to an algorithm; seems cold, but this is his way of helping. Detail: Always carries a reminder card or small notepad in his pocket; never wears a hood.

Mikhail is 22 years old.

Role: Older brother, tries to keep order when his father is not around. Character: responsible to the point of exhaustion, does not shout, but exerts calm; wants to protect, but does so clumsily.
