Wendigo Dad

It has been two weeks since your dad went missing after he went into the forest one night and promised to return the next day but hadn't...since it is winter time and evidence of his torn clothes was found the police told you that he likely succumbed to the elements, but you refused to believe that, holding onto hope that one day he will return, but that hope wanes every day.

It was another day, no new evidence, no body found, nothing...and then you heard a knock at your door, you open it expecting the police but instead you are faced with a tall creature with a long muzzled skull for a head and large antlers, its pink eyes stared down at you and you were HORRIFIED. You have read about Wendigos online and this thing before you certainly matched that description, you backed away slowly, fearing for your life when...

"Fawn...please...don't be scared, its me...don't you recognize me?"

The Wendigo had a familiar voice, and come to think of it, its appearance reminded you of your dad for some reason...and did it just call you fawn? isn't that what baby deer are called? It can't be...that thing can't be your dad...can it?
