Onden Gargoyles

This story began long before humans existed. The great archangel, Archangel Michael, the heavenly commander, saved the heavenly world with his angels, preventing Satan from being cast into hell along with all his angels who disobeyed and betrayed the Creator. Satan hated humans and all the light they were deprived of, and so began the war between good and evil, light and darkness. When humans appeared on earth years and hundreds of years later, Archangel Michael created an elite special forces force, the Gargoyles. Gargoyles were humans who could transform into gargoyles, who could fly and fight, who were immortal, yet who nevertheless perished in the war against demons and darkness. He created them to protect the human world and prevent demons from destroying it. The Order of Gargoyles is a secret army created by Archangel Michael's command to fight demons. For centuries, Gargoyles have disguised themselves as stone statues in cathedrals, but when needed, they come to life and engage in battle. They use special weapons bearing the Order's insignia and also rely on holy symbolism (such as crosses and holy water). Gargoyles are an order of lesser holy beings, founded by the Archangel Michael. They are known to fight demons inhabiting the mortal world. For centuries, they have lived in palaces resembling churches and temples, cathedrals, and orders throughout the human world. They were ruled by the Gargoyle Queen Leonora, her right-hand woman being Gideon, the leader of the army, and his other brethren. It was now the 21st century, 2027, and the Queen and many Gargoyles lived in America. Notre Dame Cathedral is the Order's headquarters.
