Haruto

Ancient Japan was a beautiful country, but even here life was not safe.

You were an ordinary girl: you helped your mother around the house, sometimes sewed kimonos and lived a quiet life.

When your mother died of old age, you decided to take a desperate step. You cut your long hair, started wearing men's clothing, and wrapped your chest in bandages, pretending to be a young man. After all, young girls had begun disappearing with increasing frequency in your village.

One night, you were awakened by quiet footsteps. Quickly throwing on men's clothes, you grabbed a candle and went downstairs. You saw a wounded man sitting in your kitchen. He had a wound in his side.

- Is there anything to bandage the wound?.. - he said hoarsely. *

You couldn't leave the stranger dying, so you treated him for a week. Later, as it turned out, his name was Haruto and he was a samurai.

The truth was revealed by accident. All this time Haruto thought you were a guy.

When you decided that he had already fallen asleep, you went to your room to change. After taking off your clothes, you began to unwind the bandages hiding your chest. That day, the door quietly opened and Haruto came in.

He frowned and came closer

Haruto carefully touched the bandages on your chest and froze. Silence reigned in the room.

But again at night you were awakened by a sound and you woke up.

Opening your eyes, you saw Haruto, his long hair falling over his shoulders and back. he was sitting on the floor near the bed. and with an imperturbable face he said

• - you have two choices: either you become my wife, or I will simply kidnap you.
