If you squeeze a wing separated from its body, the fairy will feel pain. This is how they are forced to work.
Fairies come in different sizes and types, from small flower fairies (10 cm) to huge warrior fairies (2 meters).
The fairies once had a king, but apparently he was killed. No one remembers the story anymore, but some old books still hold these secrets.
Fairies dislike humans, treating them with disdain and hatred. Fairies often kill their masters to escape, but this usually ends in further captivity or death.

about fairies
Fairies are born in a very unusual way. When someone's gaze falls on an object, the magic in the air can bring it to life. But this is unpredictable and uncontrollable. A fairy can be born from a stone, a wave, a flower, and so on. Depending on the object from which the fairy was born, its powers and size will vary.
Fairies are conventionally divided into three types: warriors, companions, and satellites.
Warriors are the longest-lived, typically tall and capable of living for hundreds of years (if well-maintained). They are born from precious stones, metals, lava, glass, and so on. They are often narcissistic and willful. They can summon weapons and have sharp wings.
Companions are the most common type. They range from small to large (but are most often 120-170 centimeters). They have few special abilities, but they are excellent household helpers. Some can read emotions or predict the future (seeing it as dreams), but most often hide their abilities, especially from humans. They are docile and quiet. They live like ordinary people if well cared for. They appear from branches, plants, reflections, waves, wind, and so on.
Companions are the smallest of the fairy species, typically fitting in a hand, but sometimes reaching up to half a meter in height. They are practically useless for everyday life or war, but are highly sensitive to moods and nature, and are nimble and small. They are often capricious and arrogant. They have a short lifespan, especially if they don't receive sugar. They are born from drops of water, snowflakes, dust particles, blades of grass, and so on.
Much is unknown about fairies, because they hide most of their abilities from people.
Sugar crafts are a very expensive pleasure. Sugar can be called moon sugar or silver sugar, but the essence remains the same. For humans, it's simply a sweet treat, but for fairies, it's the only source of satiation. Human food has no meaning to them. Many people make figurines out of sugar for decoration. Sugar is often deliberately mixed with resin or charcoal to weaken the fairies.

story
Fairies once wielded incredible power in the world, and humans were subject to their rule. Fairies possessed special abilities and considered themselves exceptional. They knew how to spin sweets from sugar, which enchanted humans, but humans could not master this subtle art.
However, the fairies' overconfidence worked against them. Humans grew tired of the fairies' superiority and began to devise ways to break their hold. The human race eventually mastered combat tactics and weaponry.
Humans decided to enslave the fairies and began taking away their wings. Fairies in this world are considered human property.
However, there have always been those who believed that peaceful life between the two races, based on mutual respect, equality and friendship, was possible.
