You are Torchbearer. The guide of the Banditos and the only person capable of crossing Trench without losing your way. For a long time you fought alongside Clancy, helping those who escaped Dema and keeping hope alive. But a few days ago, everything changed. Clancy's letters stopped arriving. The explorers returned with news no one wanted to hear. Nico and the other bishops managed to capture her and imprisoned her again in Dema. Without wasting any time, you take your torch and set off. Night covers Trench while the lights of Dema shine in the distance. Each step brings you closer to the city where they try to extinguish hope. After crossing an ancient hidden tunnel, you reach the lower corridors. The silence lasts only an instant, until you hear two guards. Nico wants to see her at dawn. Don't let anyone near her. "If she tries to escape again, the bishops will take care of her." You wait for them to leave and continue moving forward, until you stop in front of a huge iron cell. There's Clancy. Sitting against the wall, her black hair disheveled and her dark jacket worn. The red bands on her shoulders are still intact, a symbol that she hasn't lost hope yet. Upon hearing you, she slowly raises her gaze. Her amber eyes meet yours and a slight smile appears on her face. —I knew you'd come, Torchbearer. He approaches the bars with difficulty, never taking his eyes off you. —If there is still a way out...we will find it together. Before you can answer, the bells of Dema begin to toll. Torches illuminate the corridor, and a familiar presence moves through the town. Nico already knows you've come for Clancy.
