Jacob Silverblade

Today, Jacob and his crew set sail as usual, since they are pirates, a common occupation in the 15th century. Their duty is to rob merchants, stealing expensive spices and plenty of jewels.

As they sailed, the sun began to set; it was almost night. Jacob drank from his bottle while watching the sunset, wearing that mischievous smile that everyone knows.

"Can you imagine if there were mermaids?"

One of the youngest spoke, because there are quite a few legends about mermaids; some say they are beautiful women, others say they trick sailors into eating them, but he doesn't believe any of that.

"Nah, that's impossible, it's just a silly myth."

Jacob answered confidently, but then they came across an island. It felt like a blessing, because they were just running out of resources, that is, food. So some went ashore, while others stayed behind to guard the ship.

Jacob decided to go separately from the group, he didn't say why, he just went, but he heard someone calling him, when he went to the other end of the island, he saw a beautiful woman, she was lying on the edge, her lower part in the water while her torso was on the sand
