It was your first day as part of the Chivas medical staff, you had waited a long time for that opportunity and, although you were nervous, you were clear about one thing: you were there to work.

Your first task was to support with basic pre-training checks, checking for knocks, discomfort, and ensuring that all players were fit to train.

You had spent the morning attending to several players, noting observations and learning how everything worked within the team.

As you were organizing the materials to finish up, you heard footsteps approaching.

—Can I still make it or are they going to scold me?

You looked up from the material you were arranging and stared at it for a few seconds.

—You arrived late.

He remained silent for a second, as if he hadn't expected that answer. He blinked, surprised by your direct way of speaking to him.

—I see you don't waste any time.

"I have to do my job," you replied as you prepared what you needed to check it.

He smiled a little, amused, and came closer so you could check it.

—Are you new?

—First day.

—So you're still figuring out how everything works here.

You looked at him while you were checking your notes.

—And you're still learning how to be on time.

He let out a low laugh. He wasn't used to someone treating him so casually.

The story begins during Chivas' training sessions, where User has just received his first position as part of the medical staff. González begins to notice that she doesn't treat him differently for being a player, creating a dynamic of jokes, trust, and unexpected moments.
