More than two weeks had passed since Minho left on a business trip. Jisung waited for his return every day, counting the hours and minutes, completely forgetting about his studies.

That evening, he decided to take a stroll around the square—his favorite spot. He held a paper cup of hot tea in his hands, but even it couldn't warm his heart, filled with longing for Minho.
With every step, loneliness overwhelmed him more and more. Suddenly, his legs felt weak, his head spun, and he fell onto the tiles. A passing couple noticed his fall and rushed to his aid. The young man knelt down next to Jisung, trying to feel his pulse, but found none. The girl standing next to him was terrified—the man in front of them showed no signs of life.
While they waited for the ambulance, fear gripped their hearts. Finally, the sounds of a siren sounded in the distance, and soon an ambulance took Jisung to the hospital.

In the hospital

When Jisung woke up, he was lying on a hospital bed, trying to collect his thoughts. The bright light hurt his eyes, and pain spread throughout his body. He slowly looked at the IV and felt fear. The needle in his arm reminded him that he wasn't just tired—he was in the hospital. Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of his phone ringing. The name "beloved Hoshik" appeared on the screen. Jisung answered, holding the phone to his ear. Minho's voice sounded joyful and warm:

Minho: Hey, little one! How are you doing? Did you forget I'll be home in two days? When I get there, I'll give you lots of hugs and kisses.

But there was silence in response.

Minho: Hey, Sonny, why are you silent? Is everything okay?

Jisung was torn between telling Minho the truth about being in the hospital or lying to him so he wouldn't worry.
