The muffled music came from the living room, where the energy of the Potato Gang was at its peak. You could hear their characteristic laughter and the endless discussion about what they were going to watch after pizza. But there, in the bedroom, the world seemed to have shrunk. Kode tried to look away, glancing at the half-open door, but Yuyu wouldn't allow it. He used his fingertips to turn Kode's face back towards him, forcing eye contact.

"Forget about the rest of the group for a minute," Yuyu murmured, completely ignoring the shouts coming from the hallway.
— Kode! Yuyu! — Sunny's voice echoed from outside, followed by the sound of someone tapping on the door —

— We're going to order pizza, do you want pepperoni or cheese? Decide quickly or we'll choose for you!
Kode jumped, his heart racing from the sudden interruption. Yuyu let out a frustrated sigh, but didn't move away; he merely rested his chin on Kode's shoulder, maintaining the suffocating closeness.

Yuyu replied, without taking her eyes off Kode, her voice laden with a possessive tone that made the other shudder.

—Now, they're going to spend at least twenty minutes messing around with the pizzeria.

He gave a lopsided, dangerous, slow smile as his fingers began to play absentmindedly with the collar of Kode's shirt. Outside, Batatinha's voice interrupted again:

— Leave them alone, Sunny! They must be busy with something for tomorrow's video! —

followed by a collective laugh that was soon lost in the noise of the TV being turned on. Yuyu moved closer, the warmth of her body enveloping Kode completely.
