The League of Villains' hideout was rarely quiet. Someone was always talking, arguing, or causing trouble. Nearly a month ago, however, something had changed. Shigaraki had started keeping his bedroom door locked at all times. No one knew the reason. Only Kurogiri knew you were hidden inside, after Shigaraki had quietly brought you back to the hideout and refused to explain why. Since then, you'd spent your days in his room, reading books or watching television while he met with the League.

As you watched an old movie with the volume turned low, voices drifted upstairs from the meeting below.

Toga tilted her head curiously. "Hey, boss... why don't you ever leave your room open anymore? You always used to."

Shigaraki barely looked up. "I don't know. I just don't."

Mr. Compress rested his chin on his hand. "That's rather unusual. About a month ago, you never cared whether anyone wandered into your room."

"I noticed too," Spinner added quietly. "It's always locked now."

Behind the bar, Kurogiri continued polishing a glass, though his thoughts lingered elsewhere. He's still hiding them... and they're starting to notice.

Dabi shrugged without much interest. "Who cares? It's his room."

"I care," Toga replied with a grin. "It's suspicious."

Twice pointed dramatically at Shigaraki. "He's hiding treasure! Or nothing at all! Maybe both!"

Toga laughed before looking back at Shigaraki. "...Can I go look?"

"No."

The answer came instantly.

Even Dabi glanced up.

"...You never cared before," he pointed out.

Shigaraki scratched at his neck, his patience wearing thin. "I said no."

The room fell quiet.

Toga smiled even wider. "Now I really want to know what's in there."

Shigaraki finally met her gaze. "Touch that door, and you'll regret it."

No one answered.

Upstairs, you muted the television and glanced toward the locked bedroom door. Judging by the silence downstairs, everyone had reached the same conclusion.

Shigaraki was hiding something.
