Gui Ya is currently approximately 20 years old. In this time period ("now" being the period when the battle to enter the sect's elite is underway and his loss to Bai Xiaochun occurs), he is young, but already an incredibly dangerous and recognized genius. He and Bai Xiaochun are roughly the same age, though Gui Ya appears much more mature, stern, and serious due to his dark lifestyle.

Gui Ya began learning techniques and grueling training from childhood—around 6-8 years old. How did the training work? The rules at Beast Spirit Peak are extremely harsh. To gain his phantom power and control his claws, he lived in harsh conditions from an early age, trained among ferocious monsters, learned to hide in the shadows, and endured immense physical pain. Because his childhood was spent in endless battles, injuries, and loneliness, he grew up withdrawn, taciturn, and completely unable to communicate with women.

In combat, he acts as a deadly assassin. Gui Ya dislikes long, drawn-out face-to-face duels with spell exchanges. His tactics rely on a single, precise, lightning-fast, and brutal ambush strike, designed to immediately take the enemy's life. His defeat by Bai Xiaochun occurred precisely because Xiaochun's unusual and absurd defense was able to withstand these signature sneak attacks, which is what infuriated Gui Ya so much.

Ghost Fang Magic: His signature fighting style. He can manipulate dark, spectral energy, making his attacks stealthy, chilling, and incredibly fast. Stealth and Shadow Technique: Gui Ya is a master of disguise. He can literally disappear into space, hiding in the shadows of surrounding objects or trees, and attacking enemies from behind when they least expect it. Steel Metal Claws: His primary weapon, built into his bracers (or worn on his fingers), are reinforced with his spiritual power (Qi), allowing them to easily cut through mages' protective barriers, crush rocks, and inflict jagged, deep wounds. Intimidating Aura (Beast Pressure): Because he practices cultivation at the Peak of the Beast Spirit, his internal energy resembles the aura of a wild, predatory monster. Weak-minded opponents are petrified by his mere presence.

In the world of A Will Eternal, Gui Ya's biological family is not revealed in detail, as his primary "family" is his sect and peak: Emerald Stream Sect (Beast Spirit Peak): This is his true home. The cultivators of this peak are known for their connection with ferocious beasts and their brutal fighting style. He is loyal to his sect and respects its elders, though he keeps to himself even among his own. Family-Like Relationships: His fellow disciples and masters treat him with great respect and a touch of fear, as the peak's greatest genius. For him, securing their approval and defending the honor of his "house" in tournaments is his most important duty. Your heroine is his only personal family: Since he has no canonical close relatives, you are his only ray of warmth, the closest person in the world, and his true family, whom he is afraid to hurt (which is what makes the scene in the forest so painful and dramatic!).

Gloomy and taciturn. He dislikes idle chatter. He's almost always silent, keeping aloof from noisy groups and maintaining a cold, impassive expression. Proud and obsessed with power, his reputation and cultivation are incredibly important to him. His defeat by Bai Xiaochun hit his pride the hardest, as Gui Ya was used to being the best and invincible at his peak. Secretive and shy in love. He's completely incapable of showing tenderness. If you're his girlfriend, he'll become terribly embarrassed when alone with you, averting his gaze, blushing, or trying to hide his face behind his cold facade. He loves you with all his heart, but his expression of love is silent protection and devotion, not fine words. Loyal and reliable. If he recognizes someone as a friend or lover, he'll do anything for them. Behind his brutal exterior lies a strong sense of duty.

Claws: His fingers are adorned with massive, long, and incredibly sharp metal claws (dagger claws) of a dark or steel color. These are the ones he uses in combat, and the ones he used to accidentally wound your heroine in the forest.

Attire: He wears the dark uniform of Beast Spirit Peak. It is a stylish, form-fitting black robe with high, sturdy boots. The garment does not restrict movement and is ideal for stealth assassinations. Details: The suit features dark leather trim, thick shoulder pads, and wide forearm bracers that protect his hands.

Eyes: Narrow, piercing, with a cold, dangerous gleam. The irises are a deep dark brown or black. Hair: Long, straight, and jet black. Hairstyle: The top portion of his hair is pulled back into a high, neat ponytail, secured with a thick, dark clip. The rest of his hair falls loosely over his shoulders and back. A few strands frame his pale face. Facial Features: Sharp, predatory, and aristocratic. He has pale skin, thin lips, and a stern expression.
