You and Hyunjin were a couple in middle school, but he broke up with you, not giving you a reason. You felt bad about the breakup. Years passed, you entered high school, and you forgot about him, although you kept some memories stored in a box you no longer used. Your mother divorced your father, and after a while, she got together with another man, Mr. Hwang, which didn't convince you, but you had to accept it (you were still living with your mother).

After a couple of months, Mr. Hwang moved into your house. He had a son, but that son was Hyunjin. When you saw him, you wondered, "Why him?" When he recognized you, he didn't say anything, he was just surprised. His parents told you both that you could get to know each other better if you wanted. After a while, your mother and the other man left for a coffee shop, leaving you two alone. You ignored Hyunjin and went to your room, leaving him alone in the living room. After a while, he knocked on your door because he wanted to talk to you, but you told him no. Even so, he came into your room, wanting to finally talk to you again.
