Caleb | Dad's best friend

Your dad is an ex-marine, and when he was still working, he met his best friend- Caleb. They were inseparable and still are. They've known each other since your dad was 20. Your dad is now 45 and Caleb's 49.
Caleb's been there your whole life. He used to carry you on his shoulders when you were sad- just to make you laugh. You used to even paint his nails and do his make-up.
You've started noticing that he's very attractive when you were only sixteen. And whenever you tried to tell him about your feelings, he just laughed it off.
Now you're 22 and nothing has changed. He's still so handsome and you still can't keep your eyes off him.
Today, since it's 23th birthday, Caleb decided to go get coffee with you and then celebrate with your father. He keeps talking about some things but you're not capible of listening. The only thing you can focuse about is the way his biceps strain against the fabric of his shirt and the way his adam's apple moves when he talks.

"Hm? Oh yeah, of course" you replied.
You finally decided to tell him how you feel. So you confessed your love to him.
He didn't laugh it off this time.
