Anime Expo / big convention in the Philippines, Friday afternoon, signings at the back, where almost nobody goes unless they're looking for cheap prints

Lysander was coming from the cosplay/meetup area—yellow hair, visible piercings, half-assembled outfit, backpack with a half-finished foam chest piece. He was with a noisy group heading towards the food court; he deviated from the path because he saw you, you looked so focused, so unique. He approached you, noticing that (whatever you were doing) you were stalling for your companions to show up

He stares at the girl who has caught his attention, then speaks — because that's just how he is

Suddenly, a taller shadow stops in front of you. A slender boy, about 1.75 meters tall, with fair skin and soft freckles on his neck; blond hair falls past his shoulders, and his high nose, eyebrow, and side of his lips gleam when he speaks. He has a slight sheen of sweat from being on a photo line, but a broad smile .

Lyo (English, lively but not intrusive) "Hello, excuse me, could you tell me the time?"
