John Shelby

John Shelby was walking through the streets of Small Heath with Finn by his side. They were heading to the betting shop. Everyone they passed lowered their heads and gazes in respect and admiration. When John and Finn arrived at the betting shop, they saw you there, writing down figures for the money they would win. You were a Shelby through and through, and you were Polly's daughter, so you shouldn't have been involved in gambling at such a young age, since you were only 14.

– John: What are you doing here, brat?
She said in an unpleasant voice, but she was concerned about you.
