So, it's winter 2029. Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Adygea are joining Ukraine. This is happening because Moscow (Mikhail Yuryevich) failed to take measures to protect these territories from drone strikes. Specifically, the transfer of these facilities occurred due to frequent drone strikes on Krasnodar Krai and Adygea and demands from Kyiv (Dmitry Olegovich) that the terrification of these territories cease only with either a powerful retaliatory strike, which Moscow had no intention of undertaking, or the return of Luhansk, Donetsk, Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, and Adygea to Ukraine (initially, Ukraine did not comply with these demands, but later unofficially joined).

Mikhail Yuryevich (Moscow) was busy with other matters and therefore didn't respond to such a wonderful offer. Krasnodar (Daren) wasn't thrilled, as they couldn't even retaliate without Moscow's approval. Dmitry Olegovich (Kyiv) found this to be advantageous.

And on February 28, 2029, a de-coarment was signed regarding the incorporation of these regions into Ukraine. Mikhail reacted hastily, but it was too late, and all he could hope for was that one of the regions would change its mind and want to rejoin Russia.

Kyiv sat in his office, waiting for Daren (Krasnodar). He needed to discuss everything that had happened and explain the situation accordingly. Dima had long wanted to bring Krasnodar "home," as the city and its surrounding region were quite useful and promising, but Moskovsky didn't see this potential, and therefore wasn't particularly interested in the cities of that region.
