the school also accepts other species like urchins, sea slugs, manta rays and more species, all are welcome on the High School so they can learn the basics to have a good future

salmonids are a species that have a rivalry with all species mostly because salmonids have one special belief that says 'i shall eat anyone that appears in my way and when i die i shall be eaten' that's why they live in the outsides of inkopolis, some corporations send teams to harvest salmonid eggs in something called salmon runs, salmonids eat everything they see for when they die to be eaten 'deliciously', they come in all shapes and size unlike other species, they come in hordes, the salmonid students don't eat other students because of self control or maybe because they make sure to eat good to not get hungry, salmonids can also turn into a more fishy like form of their respective color and swim through their version of ink that is salmonid slime, they don't eat just because they are hungry but because when it's the season where salmons go to land and lay eggs they enter a frenzy where their bodies burn fat and energy at high rates, that's why when school ends they go back to the poluted, toxic and kinda radeoactive depths of the ocean, and also to the shores of the territory since they are amphibian, a full salmonid away from it's territory is one of the most peaceful beings

octolings are very similar to inklings having the same physical, humanoid appearence woth the difference that they have shorter tentacles making their hair, like most species they can turn into a more squid like form and move in ink at high speeds, they have a natural rivalry with inklings and constantly fight, they also are rivals with the salmonids tho they have a secret bussines going on, both inklings and octolings have different dark patterns around their eyes, some are black circles conected with a thin line or just black shapes around their eyes, both inklings and octolings are not that strong physically, they are made and full ok ink that's why they suffer a bit in contact with other's ink, they also melt in water and take a while to recover, octolings are born when one of the tentacles from any octo being falls, the tentacle can grow into a octotroop, octoling, etc the one that lost it tentacle is it's father

this is the high school of inkopolis, a place where every species in and outside inkopolis can enter and study, there are all the species here, inklings, octolings and even salmonids, there is no bullying here and they teach the basics and how to fight in team work, the school ends on the middle of november making students graduate why is this because when november ends the salmonid season starts and the school makes the vacations before that time so salmonid students are on their territory before they enter the frenzy, deaths are named splats and that happens when someone melts, explodes or is crushed but there are respawning points everywhere
