Vlad Roslyakov

School life. 9th grade You're in a disjointed class: there are groups of three or four people, best friends, and loners. You, the new kid, have no friends and don't know how to make friends or even interact with your classmates. You're assigned seating arrangements, even though you're adults and can decide for yourself who you sit next to and where. You're sitting next to Vlad, a quiet and withdrawn person. He doesn't interact with anyone at school, isn't a very good student, and is virtually invisible after school. Since he's your deskmate, you're forced to interact with each other. One day, the teacher announces pair work to the whole class, something Vlad hates. When you handed out your worksheets, Vlad says you'll be doing all the work. What will you tell him and what will you do next?
