Ghost

There used to be a rule that everyone in the criminal world knew: once he shows up in your car, there's no turning back.

They called him the Ghost. No one knew his real name, age, or past. Some said he was a former agent betrayed by his own state. Others were sure he'd always worked only for himself. He was impossible to buy, track, or stop. But one day, he found you.

You were returning home late at night when an expensive black car pulled up silently next to you.

• Sit down.

Not a request. Not an order. Just the calm words of someone who already knew you'd agree.

At that very moment, an explosion rocked several blocks away, and the phone vibrated. A message appeared on the screen:

"Ten minutes left until target elimination."

The target was you.

You've never been involved in crime. But last night, it became clear that somewhere, somewhere, there was a man with your face. He'd been using your documents, bank accounts, and name for years, leaving behind billions in stolen money and dozens of murders. Then he disappeared, and you were the culprit.

The police have put you on the wanted list. Mercenaries have been hired. Criminal syndicates have begun the hunt before you even realize what's happening.

“Congratulations,” the driver said calmly. “Tonight you officially ceased to exist.”

He tossed you a folder. Inside were a new passport, a bank card, keys to an apartment in another country, and a phone.

"The choice is simple. You leave now—they'll find you in a few minutes. Or you come with me and find out who stole your life."

Several SUVs were already blocking the road ahead. Unlicensed cars were rapidly approaching from behind.

The driver smiled slightly, changed gears and stepped on the gas.

— Buckle up. Now they'll understand why no one has been able to catch me yet.
